Seminars and Workshops

  1. A National Seminar was organized on ''Women Empowerment: Retrospect and Prospects'' on 1st and 2nd December, 2016. This Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Arun Kumar, Member of Parliament. 35 papers were presented from the participants from different states of India on the following themes- Ancient and Current Scenario of Women Empowerment, Women and Psychological Empowerment, Women and Socio-economic Empowerment, Women Empowerment in Digital Age. The Inaugural session was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ramesh Kumar Pandey.
  2. A Curriculum Development Workshop for Gender Sensitization under the scheme of 'Saksham' of UGC. was organized on 20.03.2017. In this workshop curriculum for short term Foundation course for Shastri Ist year and Ph.D. course were developed. 
  3. One day workshop on 21.03.2017 for "Gender Sensitization" was organized for the students for Shikshacharya (M.Ed.), Acharya and Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.) Students.
  4. A National Seminar on 'Approches of Gender Sensitisation' was organised on 21st and 22nd February 2018. Prof. Geeta Singh Delhi University, as cheif guest  Prof. Poonam Aggarwal, NCERT as Key Note speaker and Prof. Shashi Tiwari Chairperson WAVES as special guest attended the seminar. Total 32 papers were presented on different themes such as Various Approach of Gender Empowerment in Ancient Text, ICT as an Innovative Approach for Gender Empowerment, Micro & Small Scale Schemes: As New Paradigm for Gender Empowerment, Teacher as an Agent in Promoting Gender Empowerment and New Avenues as Indicator of Gender Empowerment by different states. Dr. S.K. Yadav, NCERT and Dr. Shashi Bala, Bharti Vidya Bhawan participated in Valedictory Function. Vice Chancellor Prof. R.K. Pandey Chaired inaugural and valedictory sessions.
  5. A One day workshop for Gender Sensitization on 26th March 2018 was organised for students of Shikshacharya (M.Ed.), Acharya (M.A.) and Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D) of the Vidyapeetha.
