Prof. Diwakar Dutt Sharma

Prof. Diwakar Dutt Sharma is the Chief Vigilance Officer of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit University since March 2022. He is a professor in the Department of Astrology. He has been teaching and guiding the students of Shastri, Acharya, Vishishtacharya and Vidhavaridhi (Ph.D.) since last 21 years.

His academic background includes Shastri from Himachal Pradesh University, Acharya from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan in the subject “Siddhant Jyotish” and Vidhavaridhi degree. He has been awarded with a Certificate of Distinction for securing the highest marks in all Acharya classes. He has guided more than 15 students for Vidhavaridhi (Ph.D.) degree. He has coordinated and chaired various national and international conferences. He has been a special guest at various conferences. He has authored more than 50 research papers. He has contributed continuously for the last 21 years in the mathematics work of the University Panchang. He has published more than 15 research papers in national and international research journals.
