As per the UGC Guidelines, the Centre runs various programmes in teaching research, training, and extension activities since 2006. To achieve this aim, various short-term projects like Images of Woman in Yagnavalkya Smriti, Women Seers in the Rg Veda: A Study in Women's History, Diversions in Educational Aspirations of Women through the Ages and Sanskrit for Girls: An Analytical Survey have been completed.
Along with this, a ten-day Foundation Course on Gender Sensitization and Awareness is organised every year to for the B.ed students as an essential part of the curriculum carrying 10 marks in the second semester. The purpose of the course is to promote empathy and understanding of gender issues which cultivates respect for diverse identities, challenges stereotypes, and fosters a culture of inclusivity.
